Climate Change, plastic pollution, overfishing, illegal wildlife trade, habitat loss are putting biodiversity at severe risk. With this in mind, OPCFHK firmly believes in backing strong research and conservation efforts both locally and across Asia. It also looks to deliver innovative solutions and new methods of data collection to support these endeavours.

While much of the world has suspended and our daily life has been affected amid COVID-19, our mission to advocating, facilitating and participating in effective conservation of Asian wildlife continues. Joining hands with our team and animal ambassadors, you can directly contribute to conservation research and education. Our planet is undoubtedly facing a number of significant threats and under unprecedented pressure – especially its biodiversity. Consisting of every life and ecosystem, biodiversity is the most vital feature of the planet that we call home.

 

The above five species are facing different threats and risk. As the animal ambassadors of the programme, they will share regular update about OPCFHK and wildlife conservation with our Conservation Hero.
